About Bill Hope

Bill Hope is a children’s book illustrator from the Blue Mountains where he lives with his partner Inga and puppy Acorn. He is passionate about all things drawing! 

Bill has published 6 books and has worked for brands like Disney, Sydney Children's Hospital and the Red Cross.

About Jamie Johnson

Jamie is a Sydney based comic artist with over 10 years industry experience. He has illustrated published covers for titles such as The Phantom, Cult of Dracula and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. A regular guest at Australia's Supanova and Oz Comic-Con, his favourite characters to draw include Batman, Spider-man and Harley Quinn.

When he is not creating dynamic cover art, Jamie teaches classes in Sydney's Hills District.

About Jeremy Lord

Jeremy is a freelance illustrator based in Sydney. His work is like taking a trip through "Bladerunner” if it was set in feudal Japan. His 80s childhood means Manga and Japanese culture, skateboarding, video games and pop culture references all go into his work in varying measures. The result is Geishas done in neon tones, demon androids, and 80s sunsets. When he's not illustrating, he's teaching illustration, and has been now for 15 years. Helps him keep his head in the game at all times!

How to draw a portrait with Matt Heath

This class covers the essential portrait fundamentals such as proportions, values, construction and planes of the head. A simple approach to facial features such as eyes, mouth and nose will be explained as well as how to develop a process with an efficient work-flow.

Matt is a designer and Illustrator and has worked for Konami, Nintendo, Blizzard, PlayStation, and Wargaming. He currently teaches a Character Concept Art workshop at Production Art Department in Sydney and also creates online tutorials featuring traditional and digital art.
